Assistants
Connect your AI assistant to Nepsis to ask how you’re doing, change your settings, and, when it really can’t wait, get an emergency code.

Anything else
Any client that supports remote MCP servers over Streamable HTTP with OAuth. It registers itself; you approve it once.
What it can do
You choose on the consent screen. Each permission is separate, and you can untick any of them.
See your progress
See today's progress, your streak, levels and records, recent challenges and unlocks, your settings, and whether trusted unlock is on.

Change your settings
Change your unlock length, which challenges are offered, and strict mode. It cannot change trusted unlock or which apps are locked.

Make emergency codes
Make an emergency code that opens your locked apps for a couple of minutes when you type it into Nepsis. Only the code's fingerprint is kept, and making a new one voids the last.

Open apps you allow for work sessions
Open a locked app for up to an hour with no challenge, and lock it again, but only apps you allow for agent sessions in Nepsis (Settings, Assistant). It sees the names of those apps and its session history. It cannot turn sessions on or allow more apps; only you can, in the app.

Emergency codes
For the moment you truly need a locked app: a ride, a message that can’t wait, someone who needs you. Not for skipping a challenge.
Turn on "Accept codes from my assistant" in the app, in Settings, Assistant. It is on by default.
Tell your assistant what you need and why. It decides whether the need is urgent, and makes a code with the permission Make emergency codes.
The code is 64 characters, shown only to the assistant, once. Nepsis keeps a salted hash, never the code.
Type or paste it into Nepsis's unlock screen, under "I have a code". Everything opens for a couple of minutes, then locks again.
Each code works once and expires, ten minutes after it was made unless your assistant chose otherwise. A new code voids the last one, and five wrong codes in an hour pause entry for the rest of it.
Want to take challenges out of the picture entirely? Turn on Only my agent can unlock: passing a challenge no longer opens anything, so your assistant’s judgment becomes the only way in.
Agent sessions
When you ask your assistant to do something inside a locked app, it can open that app for a work session, with no challenge, and lock it again when it’s done. You earn your own unlocks; the assistant holds the key for the work you hand it.
Turn on Agent sessions in the app, in Settings, Assistant, and allow each app your assistant may open. Only those apps’ names are shared with Nepsis’s server, so your assistant can ask for them.
Approve the permission Open apps you allow for work sessions when you connect. Your assistant can never turn sessions on or allow another app.
A session lasts 1 to 60 minutes and locks again by itself at the end, even if the connection drops. Your phone opens and relocks within seconds, by a notification.
Sessions are listed under You, apart from unlocks, and never count toward your stats or streak. End one any time from Today.
Try asking
“How many times did I choose my brain this week?”
“How did my week look across Nepsis, Heft and Margin?”
“Am I getting faster at mental math?”
“Make my unlock window three minutes and turn on the cooldown.”
“I’m locked out of WhatsApp and need my flight details now. Can you make me an emergency code?”
Privacy
The assistant sees only your own Nepsis account, and only what you approved. It never sees which apps you’ve locked: app names stay on your phone, except the names of apps you allow for agent sessions, which you choose in the app. Disconnect from the assistant at any time; connections end on their own after 180 days.
